| Kisu, Zekkou, Kisu - This series is a prelude to the relationship between Sakisasa and Hatori, their ups and downs. What sets this series apart is the fact that each scene is shown twice--once from the girl's point of view and then the guy's.
Kiss, Zekkou, Kiss Bokura no Baai - Continuation of Kiss, Zekkou, Kiss, a shoujo manga following the relationship between Sakisaka and Hatori--the ups and downs, misunderstandings, the tears and the laughter. A unique thing about this series is that each story/situation is told twice--once from the girl's perspective, and once from the guy's perspective! The reader ends up learning what each side was thinking.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I guess everyone has read at least one of Yoshiko Fujiwara works. If don't, then it's your loss then. Even though some storylines are just simple shoujo, I like how her narrates the words of the characters' thoughts. She can describes the feeling very well and nakes our hearts ache for it. Let's forward to Kiss, Zekkou, Kiss. The prequel of the manga tells us about the childhood period of Mao Sakisaka and Yuuya Hatori. I honestly didn't like love story for the fifth graders, bt this manga completely having my interest glued on. There's no sappy love words, just the untold emotions of desprateness from both side. Although I wish the ceremony scene were not as pathetic (which is kinda un-real situation for me) as that. The the real manga starts on how they both enrolled to two different high school but manga to meet every morning at the train station. We can see the insecurity feeling in Yuuya-kun since Mao-chan is clever than him and plus the existance of Fuse-kun. And Yuuya seems really pathetic which is understandable since he's in love with Mao for almost five years. While Mao seems indifferent, I can tell deep inside she's not that cold. She just can express her feeling with the right words.
For Volume One, I love the chapter of Taketu's Story. He's a bestfriend of Yuuya and kinda respected him quite much. He described on how he see in Yuuya in such a good-friend-who-know-his-friend-very-well manner. I almost cry by his words. Ganbatte Taketu in searching for a good girlfriend!
I actually just read the pequel volume and Vol.01. So, that's it for now since I'm gonna leech for the Volume 02 releases. Thanx VK!
